• Gain firsthand insight into school leadership

Save the Date for RISD Principal for a Day October 7th!  This a community engagement initiative in partnership with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce where business leaders, community members, and other stakeholders are invited to experience the role of a school principal for a day. The program is designed to build relationships between schools and the community, giving participants firsthand insight into the challenges and successes of school leadership.

Why Participate?

• Strengthen connections between schools and the community
• Support education and future leaders
• Experience the challenges and rewards of school leadership

Timeline:
8 am - 12 pm: Shadow a campus principal at one of RISD’s 49 K-12 schools
12:30 - 2:30 pm: Gather for lunch and reflections at RISD’s Professional Development Center Auditorium
